Do you work with orthodontic practices outside the United States?

Yes. Hummingbird Associates is an international consulting firm and has worked with orthodontic practices in Canada, Europe and beyond.

Do American orthodontic systems actually transfer to other countries?

The underlying systems do: scheduling and capacity design, role clarity, new patient conversion, treatment coordinator flow, leadership structure and performance metrics. What has to be adapted is fee structure, insurance and payer arrangements, and local regulation. We adapt rather than transplant.

How does an international engagement work in practice?

Most of the work is remote, in scheduled working sessions with the doctor and leadership team, with on-site visits planned in concentrated blocks rather than short frequent trips.

Can we participate in the Numbers Analysis from outside the United States?

Yes. The Numbers Analysis is built from data your office submits, and comparisons are made against practices of similar size. Currency and fee structures are handled in the setup.

What about time zones?

Sessions are scheduled to suit your team's working day. We have run engagements across North America and Europe and plan around your clinic hours, not ours.
